Gay art and homoerotic art

In English on 2011/05/01 at 09:24

Jaime Gil de Biedma (1929-90), * Barcelona poet, said in one of his last interviews that he considered himself more homo-sentimental than homosexual. Throughout history there have been many women who have marvelled at women, including her body and many men who have been by men, that we should ask what category are those who have felt the fascination and admiration instead of having had homosexual experiences. The fundamental question is what made so many artists have felt more devotion to their own gender instead, and many do not feel sexual desire, and not by repression or moral sense of sin, but because it is actually quite common. Why most men watch masculine sport and ignore almost entirely the female sports? And why most women buy magazines where appear smartly dressed beautiful women? For identification.
